Counseling Services
At McDowell Mountain Counseling, Grace provides a professional, confidential,
comfortable and peaceful office setting. She also provides school observations/consultations
and community outreach services.
By offering a spectrum of counseling options and a high level of flexibility
in the way services are delivered, Grace gives people tools that
are relevant to their individual needs and tailored to optimize
effectiveness. This ultimately results in achieving greater
insight into presenting problems, increased interpersonal growth
and successful
completion of goals in a more timely manner. As a professional,
Grace measures her success by how effectively she assists her clients
in accomplishing
their goals. She believes the best demonstration of her professional
success occurs when individuals and families feel they have effectively
overcome
their challenges and can continue their growth outside of the counseling
setting. In this step, tools for dealing with future challenges
have been incorporated into one’s life and demonstrated in current
situations. This person can now apply these skills to a variety
of circumstances, with
the support of his/her family, friends and community.
